About PDF Splitting

PDF splitting allows you to divide a large PDF document into smaller, more manageable files. This is useful for:

  • Extracting specific sections from a large document
  • Creating separate files for each chapter or section
  • Breaking down large files for easier sharing via email
  • Organizing content by topic or category

Splitting Methods

Our tool offers three different ways to split your PDF:

Split into Individual Pages

Creates a separate PDF file for each page in the original document. This is useful when you need to work with individual pages separately.

Example: A 10-page document will be split into 10 separate PDF files.

Split by Page Range

Divides the document according to specified page ranges. This is useful when you know exactly which sections you want to extract.

Example: Specifying "1-3,4-6,7-10" will create three PDF files: one with pages 1-3, one with pages 4-6, and one with pages 7-10.

Split by File Size

Splits the document into parts that don't exceed a specified file size. This is useful when you need to stay within email attachment size limits.

Example: Setting a maximum size of 5MB will create multiple files, each no larger than 5MB.

All split files will be available for download individually or as a ZIP archive. Files are automatically deleted after 24 hours, so be sure to download them promptly.
