Privacy
RevisePDF opens and edits PDFs locally in your browser.
Your documents
PDFs you choose are not intentionally sent to RevisePDF for processing. The file, its text, its fonts, its filename and your edits stay in browser memory on your device. RevisePDF has no document upload service, account, document cloud or processing API.
Ordinary website requests
Visiting the website still makes ordinary requests for the RevisePDF application files. Hosting infrastructure may therefore receive normal connection information such as an IP address, browser headers and the time of a request. Document content is not placed in those requests.
Storage on your device
After RevisePDF has loaded successfully, your browser may cache the application so it can work offline. That cache contains RevisePDF program files, not PDFs you open. RevisePDF does not intentionally put documents, extracted text, filenames or edit history into local storage, IndexedDB or application caches.
When you close the editor
The active PDF and edit history are released from RevisePDF memory when the editing session closes. A browser or device may separately retain a downloaded file or recently opened file according to its own settings.
Tracking
RevisePDF has no analytics, advertising trackers, session replay, remote error reporting, social widgets or remote fonts.
